A+A+A is a New York based design studio working across North America and Asia. Founded by Andrea, Arianna, and Ashely, the studio designs buildings, interiors, exhibitions and experiences that make space for people – emotionally, culturally, and physically.
Their work is rooted in a deep understanding of architectural design, public space and the knowledge required to navigate civic processes, community input and cross-industry collaboration. Whether shaping a home, curating a public moment, or developing a brand’s physical presence, they approach every project with clarity, curiosity and care.
Arianna Deane
Founder, Director of Architecture
Arianna is an architect, educator, and maker. She has lived and worked in Florida, California and New York, with over thirteen years of experience in architecture, construction and fabrication oversight. From public art installations to mobile vending kiosks, and ground-up construction, her eye for detail and knowledge of building has supported the successful design and completion of projects from the Bay Area to New York City. She is passionate about material knowledge, sensory experience and sustainable approaches that make a design greater than the sum of its parts, and leave an audience with a sense of delight.
Ashely Kuo
Founder, Creative Director
Ashely is a seasoned designer and project manager with 10+ years of experience creating physical experiences across industries, scales, and settings, from retail stores and pop-ups to music festivals and brand headquarters, for clients such as Creative Time, Cash App, Hypebeast, 88rising, Coachella, Fear of God, Off-White, Les Benjamins, and Nike. Having lived half her life in both Taipei and New York, her design approach is shaped by hybrid customs, languages, values, and experiences. She is drawn to the undisciplined nature of design, its openness to cross disciplines, be playful, intuitive, even messy, and to push ideas into unexpected places.
Andrea Chiney
Founder, Director of Communications
Andrea Chiney is a designer and educator with Peruvian, Chinese, and Japanese roots. She brings over a decade of experience in architecture, specializing in public engagement. Prior to joining A+A+A, she collaborated with institutional clients, including the Brooklyn Public Library, Queens Public Library, and the Crystal Bridges Museum, to develop community engagement and impact strategies for new libraries and public art installations. Drawing from her multicultural background, Andrea applies her design skills to bridge connections between diverse groups, enriching public spaces with varied perspectives.
