During the early days of the 2020 Covid-19 lock down, we partnered up with with next-generation landscape design company Studio Lily Kwong on their Freedom Gardens project to bring digital community engagement and localized outreach to partners in New York City.

Our studios have been working together to bring educational content, resources, and community building to the general public in the broader New York City area. Inspired by Victory Gardens, the Freedom Gardens initiative seeks to inspire everyday Americans to start gardens and learn more about food systems - giving food agency to the public in these uncertain times. For this initiative A+A+A studio has lead workshops to reach people in historically underserved communities. The workshop series creatively engages with educational gardening content catered to participants living in apartments, townhouses and suburban homes.
